The Richmond County Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians held its annual luncheon Sunday, April 10, 2011 at the Island Chateau, Grasmere, Staten Island. Attending the event, seated from left, bottom front, are LAOH Vice President Samantha Fisher, LAOH President Jackie Ackalitis and Elizabeth Connelly Award recipient Bernice Fisher. Standing, from left, are honorees Division 4 Margaret DelBagno, Division 2 Eileen Hayes, Division 1 Anne Gallo and First Annual Business Award recipient Jamie E. Cregin of Manhattan Beer Distributors.  The event was an astounding success.  Also acknowledged for their outstanding Hibernianism were Joan and Donald Hughes.  Their dedication to the Order has included past County Presidents for both LAOH and AOH and recently Joan was awarded the prestige of being the Grand Marshal of the 2010 Richmond County Parade.

The Junior Girls of Division 3 in Kings Park NY carried the banner for the Suffolk County Ladies in the New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. Here they are at the end of their Fifth Avenue march.
