On February 7th, LAOH Division 19, Yonkers, held a Saint Brigid Mass and Brunch at The Olde Stone Mill in Tuckahoe in honor of their patron saint. Installation of new officers took place and the Division welcomed Father Terrence Lee to celebrate Mass.
Many of the Ladies of Division 19 joined the AOH Division 1 for their Communion Mass and Breakfast at St. Joseph’s Seminary Feb 22nd. President Allison Mosher and Vice President Brigid Murray were pleased to represent Division 19.
LAOH Division 19 in Yonkers is proud that their member Mary Hoar was an aide to the Grand Marshal in the Yonkers Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on McLean Avenue. The celebratory dinner was held at Empire Casino, Yonkers on March 7th.
Finally, the Ladies of Division 19 were the proud recipient of the AOH Myles Scully Division One Trophy for Best Marching Unit, Senior Division at the Yonkers St. Patrick’s Day Parade on McLean Avenue
The Ladies of Division 4 in Staten Island celebrated their 45th Anniversary.
Karilyn O’Brien was honored as the Hibernian of the Year at the annual Suffolk County Ball. Karilyn has served successfully as the County President for two years. The County Ball was well attended by all eight Divisions in the County and they welcomed Barbara Jones, The Consul General of Ireland. She addressed the County Hibernians, praising their work and service.
